Share your rendition of a favorite holiday song with the community and you could win a prize in The Herald-Times’ inaugural Songs of the Season holiday music competition!

1. Choose a family-friendly holiday song, then record yourself performing it. Entries may be vocal or instrumental, solo or groups. Deadline for entries is noon on 12/9/2016, so don’t wait!

2. Submit your video file at www.heraldtimesonline.com/songs. Video editing is allowed, but no autotuning or lip syncing! Maximum file size is 200 MB. Plus, you can check out other video entries before voting begins!

3. Community voting takes place at www.heraldtimesonline.com/songs from 12/9/2016 through 12/18/2016. Share the voting link with your friends and family to get as many votes as you can!

4. The three videos with the most votes will move on to the finals and be considered by our community judges, who will award first, second, and third place prizes. The three final videos will also be featured on The Herald-Times’ website and Facebook page.

Winning prizes are Amazon gift cards—$100 for first place, $50 for second place, $25 for third place.
